About the free class:

This class is for parents who want simple, easy ways to feel more calm, joy, ease and connection in their families and in their lives.

For parents whose lives are full. Sometimes full with all the awesome stuff they love. And with more of the stress, exhaustion and chaos than they really want.

For parents who don’t want to add to the list of to dos.

For parents who want to feel more rested, resourced and grateful.

This class will be online, and you're welcome to join in, even in the middle of life (i.e. hanging out with your kids, driving to swimming lessons, etc.)

In it, we'll cover some evidence based information about brain and nervous system development and how knowing this can make a big difference in how we feel with our kids. And increase our children’s resilience, cooperation and joy. And who doesn’t want that?

We'll also practice simple embodied tools and practices that can help us experience more presence, calm, connection, balance and joy.

The hour long practical session will be facilitated by Twyla Kowalenko, MSW PhD. Twyla is a mother of two, somatic educator, embodiment coach, movement facilitator, DJ and creator of the soma’ing methodology. Twyla has over 2 decades of experience in teaching and facilitation children, youth and adults and is passionate about sharing the simple and powerful ways embodied awareness and practices can make in all areas of our lives. You will leave feeling calmer and ready to enjoy parenting a whole lot more.
